Lirica Yamase, a visionary pianist from Japan with a deep-rooted passion for music, began her journey at the renowned Guildhall School of Music, where she was awarded the prestigious Cripplegate Foundation Scholarship and earned the Concert Recital Diploma. In 1998, she channelled her passion into founding the Oslo International Music School (OIMS). What started as a small studio with just five students quickly blossomed into a vibrant community of nearly 100 dedicated musicians. Under Lirica’s inspiring leadership, OIMS has not only grown in numbers but has also established a reputation for excellence. Many of our students have gone on to be accepted into prestigious music high schools and universities, reflecting our unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and achieving the highest educational standards
